Dr Julia Haire on the latest research, techniques and strategies surrounding airway rescue in paediatrics.

Speaker biography:
Julia has been a FACEM since 2011 and started her consultant life at the Royal Hobart Hospital. She is currently an Emergency Staff Specialist working in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service at the new Sunshine Coast
University Hospital, Nambour General Hospital and Gympie Hospital. Her main interest is in education and she is a co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training at Nambour General Hospital and a co-ordinator of the Fellowship Exam Preparation Course. Julia has been an APLS instructor since 2015 and teaching on these courses is always a highlight of her working year. In her other life she has five fabulous children so current hobbies are crazy dress-ups, bike-riding, swimming, sleeping, chauffeuring and picking things up off the floor.
